How I Wear MY (new) PEACE of jewelry - Necklace & Jumpsuit

Another back to back moment.
My jumpsuit.
Wore this weekend to my uncle's birthday party at his house.
These photos are the next day, when I wore to work.
And yes, I wore a sweater over it in the office.

 Midnight blue jumper - Express
cropped denim jacket - Levi's
sandals - DSW
Anne Klein purse - thrifted

I wore MY (new) PEACE of  jewelry - Necklace
I was inspired by a necklace I saw in In Touch magazine
A jewelry collection "designed" by Zoe Kravitz for Swarovski.
Not to be a "hater" but you know she did not craft this necklace herself. Just sayin'
Anyway, I love it and knew I can make something similar and not as expensive at $181,
which is the cost for this necklace

An "American Indian-inspired" bohemian chic Necklace

The light blue glass beads are called White Heart beads because the center of the bead is white.
Added various colored and shaped beads and brass charms.

I added another stand of African brass beads, for no particular reason.
I will be using these beads to make other necklaces.
Sorry for the messy lay of the necklace but I take my own photos and
did not know at the time this is how it looked.

I love the necklace and will be selling it on Etsy.

Uncle's birthday party was fun. Played games, ate a lot of food and drank.

Until next, time please remember time is precious and spend
as much time with the people you love and who loves you.

    1. Hi gracefully50:

Jumpsuits are the best, when you can find one that fits your own proportions, which I did in this case. Yes, I do work out. I'm a spinning instructor, part-time doing it 5 days a week, I lead and spin at the same time. It does not pay the bills but it keeps me in some shape. ;)

  7. Now I see where you get your incredible looks ... so sweet to see you with your mother. She was a beauty, too. This jumpsuit looks fantastic front or back ... your workouts sure have paid off, cause you look wonderful.
Please note ... you're Modified Liebster is my first link on today's post. Sorry it took so long. Thank you for coming out to play.
Your necklace is lovely ... you have such great skills.

  8. Really cool necklaces! I love the three-tiered one, and it's so clever of you to do your own version of the one you saw. Is Zoe Kravitz the daughter of Lenny? I'll have to google that (good excuse to look at pictures of Lenny Kravitz).

  9. Your family photos made me smile. Looks like a typical get-together at my house. ;) My parents are Jamaican. I can't go back home to visit without getting into a serious (literally life or death) game of dominoes. Hehe. Thanks for the sweet comment on my blog! <3
