For some reason  I was drawn to this dress at the thrift store. It's so not my style, but I bought it and wear it on occasion. I like striped shirts. Especially that has a shirttail that can "hide" my butt I guess this t-shirt is not doing a good job of hiding my butt. I'm no different from most women, when it comes to being sensitive about a particular area of the body. Mine is my butt and legs. Ughhhh!!!! Anyway, I like striped t-shirts. It's not to often I'm in a dress. I love dresses,  but because I commute mainly by bike it's not the best item to wear. A tank dress is the perfect piece to have in your wardrobe.  You can fancy it up with high heels and lux jacket or in my case make it casual and pair with a cropped jean jacket and of course MY PEACE of jewelry necklace This black tank dress is very special to me. Not one for fancy dressing, I paired MY PEACE of jewelry with cords and tank top. Cords - Levi's Tank top - Brandy & Melville   Even though it appears sunny in "sunny" California, the weather is wacky. Sun is out one minute, then raining next minute. Even though it's blazing hot this week, last week was still June gloom, with overcast mornings, hazy sun afternoons and cool evenings. With the cool weather I was able to wear these ankle cowboy boots that I got for a steal from the thrift store. I am bummed I did not make it but I am not bummed that I bought it from a thrift store. It's a beautiful, outstanding statement necklace. As I get older, I am getting more comfortable wearing COLOR below the waist. Big butt and thighs will not stop I. Here I am wearing URBAN OUTFITTERs - BDG Roadie Boot Jean , which I got on sale for $19 in the store.  But! You can get them online too for the same price. They are stretch denim (a good thing) but ride low (a somewhat bad thing). Because when you sit down or bend over, there might be some crack action in the rear, if you know what I mean. With this color, pairing red with white is a no brainer. Keeping it simple on top, I wore a v-neck t-shirt, which is by chance also from URBAN OUTFITTERS - BDG V-neck tee . I have plenty of white-tees. In fact recently purchased a few white tees from the GAP, but they have a little pocket on one side of the chest that does fit well with MY PEACE of jewelry . Oh yeah!
