Cemetery & MY PEACE

Image
I made another visit to the cemetery. My last visit was in January - Cemetary & Boots . Then, it was cold and rainy. This visit, it's hot and sunny. What stayed the same are the headstones, the beauty and tranquility. By chance, I brought some cuffs I handstamped with what I call reminders how to live life. Layering Necklaces MY PEACE of jewelry

Image
Layering necklaces is like working on a puzzle; but without knowing where everything exactly fits. I love Chains and Charms. Lately, I've been obsessed with collecting different types. On the left is a multi-strand necklace that I made using brass beads and various link chains. On the right, also a multi-strand necklace with just gun-metal link chains Combine the two, you get Two simple PEACEs together and you get a nice bohemian and ethnic PEACE. Another layering option is layering three PEACEs Here is my African Mask Necklace hanging from gun-metal link chain African Mask Necklace on Etsy Handmade Jewelry & Mannequins

How I Wear MY PEACE of jewelry

Image
Even though it's blazing hot this week, last week was still June gloom, with overcast mornings, hazy sun afternoons and cool evenings. With the cool weather I was able to wear these ankle cowboy boots that I got for a steal from the thrift store. Levi's - black jeans Levi's - crop jean jacket Gap - t-shirt MY PEACE of jewelry - Necklaces I kept the jewelry to a minimum, wearing one of my necklaces. It's part of my Layering Charm Necklaces on Etsy.  These necklaces can be paired with other necklaces as seen here Layering Necklaces Even though I kept it simple I could have worn this necklace. I am bummed I did not make it but I am not bummed that I bought it from a thrift store. It's a beautiful, outstanding statement necklace. Heading into the weekend, I'm looking forward to the continued hot weather. Handmade Jewelry & Mannequins

MY PEACEs - Layering Necklaces

African Brass Pendants are the perfect embellishment for a simple chain paired with other necklaces. I paired with my Multiple chain link necklace African Brass Pendants are not native to one specific region of Africa. Brass-making on the continent spans a number of different municipal areas where brass was originally mined such as the Ivory Coast, or where recycled brass is particularly abundant – Ghana. I think each one works great with it.  Handmade Jewelry & Mannequins
