Girl Stylin Crush - Julie Sarr

Image
If I had to say who's fashion sense I admire the most is this woman. I was browsing through various blogs, actually specifically through Van de Fashion  blog and she had this posting about Julie Sarr. I love her style. It's effortless, chic, masculine with a feminine edge and comfortable. Would I have the balls to wear an afro?!? Not there yet, but I am definitely feeling the vibe. Don't like the fact she smokes. Yuck! MY PEACE of JEWELRY

WO-MANNEQUIN - Head 'n Bust

Image
WO-MANNEQUIN - Head 'n Bust MEASUREMENTS Height - 19" Width - 11" Depth - 8" This one I really had a time making it. The ears were the hardest part because, when you make something by hand and not using a mold, there is no promise that they will result being the same size, level or quality. So it took a few tries to make the ears. Here are a few pics with MY PEACE of JEWELRY displayed on the Head 'n Bust - WO-MANNEQUIN NECKLACES EARRINGS MY PEACE of JEWELRY http://www.etsy.com/listing/59501725/wo-mannequin-head-n-bust

Silver Saber Silky MY PEACE of NECKLACE on ZEE

Image
I love this PEACE. I love all MY PEACEs. Recently made this PEACE putting together many silver chains mixed with a few various different sized and colored link chains. It's really two necklaces that can be worn together or each on it's own. The pendant, I put on it's own chain, called a Rollo chain. Here are some pics of the necklace on me. NEW Mannequin!

Image
First of all, I got my new camera and I love it! It's a Canon SX120IS. The photos of the finished mannequin, I took yesterday with my NEW camera. Anyway, besides making MY PEACE of JEWELRY jewelry, I make mannequins using grocery bags using paper mache' method. The mannequins can be used to display almost anything from jewelry, scarves, hats and t-shirts. I've sold a few on my etsy site. This latest mannequin, I combined the bust with a head. See an earlier post for the other three mannequins: HEAD n' TORSO, TORSO and BUST. This mannequin I call HEAD n' BUST. I gotta admit, I was trying to make a "pretty" woman, but I did not succeed. She's pretty ugly. Remember that line from the movie The Color Purple? "You show is ugly!" But hey! It's practical and will divinely display anything. You got to give me credit for reusing garbage bags! You are not going to find anything like this on the web. This is my first HEAD n' BUST mannequin. As I...
