I've already posted one tutorial about How to Make a Mannequin out of paper, paste and patience. It's been 3 years since that post. For kicks, I thought I'd make a new post just to see how much I've aged over the years. Ha! Besides me getting older, nothing else has changed. I've sold quite a few on Etsy with great feedback . I make the mannequins to display jewelry. Being a jewelry designer, I know what is needed to be a good mannequin. 1. sturdy 2. light 3. mobile 4. pretty   I have a tutorial on how to make your own DIY - Mannequin and there are several other tutorials all over the internet But if you want one already made, you can purchase one of my WO-mannequin I've sold several on Etsy   Since I started making these mannequins a few years ago, I've added a couple of different shaped ones.   Here I want to show how my favorite necklace (I made it too) looks on each WO-mannequin. When I am considering purchasing something, it's always cool to see as many photos of the item. That is why I continue to take photos while I still have them until they are sold. I've taken so many straight on shots that I am beginning to take more shots at different angles which really feature jewelry very well and you get an opportunity to see MY PEACE of jewelry from all angles. Making a WO-MANNEQUIN takes a lot of time, but I love it. It's like a work of art. I finished my latest WO-MANNEQUIN ! It's the Head n' Torso. With this particular one, I extended the neck so long earrings could be hooked on either side. FINAL WORK PROCESS  If you ever viewed my post about "how to make your own mannequin" I veered from just using the form. I added curves and angles that are not on the original form. I love it!  I feature it as sculpture in my apartment. I get so many compliments, when people see it. BUT! It is also great to display my necklaces and hook or hoop earrings. It is also great to display knitted items, such as caps and scarves and also small to medium sized t-shirts.
