I guess I am somewhat a "quirky" dresser. I mean I don't mean to dress a certain way, but when I look at my own photos I ask myself, "Did I really leave the house in that?" I guess the answer is yes. When I put on clothes, I think comfort with an edge.  My oversized Levi's are the perfect answer. Other women may buy the "boyfriend" jeans, I buy oversized Levi's from the thrift store. They cost $8; not $108 and they are comFORtable. I go specifically for 501s. You can get some really cool ones on Ebay. Plain and simple, it makes me feel good to give. Sure I want to sell MY PEACEs, but I also want to give MY PEACEs. Especially my CUFFS because, the phrases on the CUFFS express what most people need to remind themselves. You are not alone in how you feel or what you feel. Not only did I wear a rock n' roll iconic band t-shirt Van Halen, but I also wore rockin' necklace. No really, the necklace feature rock gems, called Lapis Lazuli.   Lapis Lazuli Lapis is latin for  stone , and from the Arabic, azul, means blue . Pretty straight forward. I am wearing "blue rocks", which it actually is, rather than, what most people think is it's a mineral. It IS composed of various minerals: lazurite, pyrite and calcite, but it's still just a rock. The best Lapis Lazuli is uniformly deep blue in color, being opaque to semi-translucent and consist almost totally of lazurite. It was extracted from mines around Lake Baikal and in Afghanistan since about the year 6000 BC. British scientists who discovered the tomb of King Tut in 1920 found that it was decorated with lapis lazuli. In honor of V-day, I wore to work my red seude pants, which I refer to as my "skinny" pants noted in a previous post, HERE .  I did not want to be too obvious that it was V-day, but I guess I was, considering my PANTS are RED. Paired my pants with a thrifted beige sweater, brown ebay-purchased-60's-style-ankle-boots and a multi-strand, multi-fall-earth-tone-colored-wooden-beads choker necklace.
