How I Wear MY PEACE of jewelry - Tibetan Agate Bead Necklace & skinny cords

Image
Truly one of my favorite necklaces Keeping My Outfit simple really allows the Necklace to be the center of attention Wearing a v-neck sweater that I just purchased from Target and dark blue cords, Levi's (old) and beige suede ankle boots thrifted and faded old denim blazer that I rarely wear but don't have the heart give up yet Necklace 2-strand, bib necklace on Etsy Tibetan Agate beads Kuchi coins Ceramic turquoise beads Agate beads are beautifully formed over thousands of years.  Agate is like a rock that is created when molten minerals filled up a cavity in a host rock. They are semi-translucent. These are fairly rustic; meaning they're not polished to a shiny finish. Most agate beads you see on the market are too polished.  They look too perfectly man-handled and don't allow the natural beauty to shine. I like jewelry that's earthy, rustic and aged. There's a lot of beauty to vintage piec...

How I Wear MY PEACE of jewelry - strapless black dress

Image
A black, a-line flower-power strapless dress Strapless dresses are always in style. That is why I'm proud to say this is an "old" dress that I bought from a thrift store. The right jewelry to wear with a STRAPLESS DRESS is ANYTHING. With a strapless dress your chest is bare. A BARE CHEST is a BLANK CANVAS On this particular day, I chose to wear MY PEACE of jewelry Large Turquoise Teardrop Bead Necklace. I just made this necklace a few weeks ago. Actually I made two necklaces.  The single strand and multi-strand Turquoise Teardrop & Olive Wood Beads on Etsy I love how the olive wood beads complement the flower on the dress  and the Turquoise Teardrop beads adds a pop of color to my outfit Single strand Necklace available on Etsy Bib Style, multi-strand necklace on Etsy Remember with a STRAPLESS DRESS you can wear a BOLD, COLORFUL NECKLACE Handmade Jewelry & Mannequins...

New MY PEACE of JEWELRY Necklace

Image
Just made MY PEACE of JEWELRY necklace here and I could not wait to take photographs, so I brought it to work. On my lunch break, I went on campus and "scouted" the perfect location. I did not really "scout", I had to go up there anyway to drop something off. Anyway, I found an area full of benches, where I thought it would be kind of cool. I am photographing more and more outside because I like to do it during my lunch hour when it's daylight and there is a lot of natural light. MY PEACE of JEWELRY is very organic, ethnic, nature-inspired jewelry and I want to express this in my photographs. Photographed a few in the sun BUT a little too bright! Photographed in the shade and I liked the outcome. http://www.etsy.com/shop/Zeedubya
