How I Wear MY PEACE of jewelry

Crochet racer back tank purchased (of course) from Urban Outfitters. I'd never thought I'd be into crochet, but it works because it's fully lined, really comfortable, sturdy and lightweight. It feels like a sporty top but looks very feminine. You got to be careful not to look like a Halloween themed poster child. And the way I avoid that is never wear with black pants. At least I would Never! Anyway, I paired this shirt with my newly purchased LEVIs - Modern Bold Curve Ankle Skinny Jeans Levi's is another staple brand in my closet. Most of my jeans are Levi's. Usually, I buy them on sale but this time I bought at full price $68. Having gone to the Levi store plenty of time, I had never been measure. This time I was measured. and was determined to be a "modern bold curve" shaped woman.  Levi definition: a curvy woman with a very defined waist, hip and seat (see where the arrows are pointing above?) How I Wear MY PEACE

I got to be honest, when I viewed these pictures, the only phrase going through my head was, "Thunder Thighs!, Thunder Thighs...Thunder..." You get the jist. I've always had big legs and butt. First reason is I was born this way; Second reason being I've been an athlete ALL my life; Third reason being I'm a part-time spinning instructor 5 days a week, who works out along with the class, and Fourth reason is I like to eat and drink.  I eat pretty healthy, but don't deprive when I want a hamburger, burrito, fries.... I don't want to be skinny but I would not mind losing 10 pounds. I watch what I eat; especially during the week. Being 46, I guess I have to cut myself some slack. Anyway, I am getting off the subject of my post - How I Wear MY PEACE. It's really starting to feel like Spring in Southern California. We've had the time change, the sun is out and the days are longer. I am inspired to wear color. I purchased these jeans last week. O...

Window Shopping for MY PEACE of JEWELRY

After finishing MY PEACE of JEWELRY necklace, I realized I did not have any clothing to wear with it. Everyone has their own fashion sense, but I would like to be able to show how I envision the necklace to be worn. So! I decided to go to URBAN OUTFITTERS on my lunch break and scour the floor for an appropriate blouse, dress or t-shirt to buy - then photograph myself in the finished outfit. Now there was a little problem. Even though I found a couple of blouses, I can't afford to buy them until payday - September 1st. So instead, I bypassed buying the blouses and photographed myself in the URBAN OUTFITTERS changing room.   WEDNESDAY, August 24, 2011 - Farmer's Market URBAN OUTFITTERS - white button-up blouse on sale $9.99. URBAN OUTFITTERS - Tribal blouse on sale $29.99 MY PEACE of JEWELRY Sold on Etsy www.zeedubya.etsy.com
