My Natural Hair Journey continues. My first shampoo in 25 years. For 25 years I've worn braids without taking them all out at once. Finally, I've gotten rid of the braids and here is a video documenting my first wash and two-strand twist-in. My hair is damaged and unhealthy. My first two-strand twist is not pretty, but I plan to bring my hair back to being healthy! I will not use any heat, in other words, no blowdrying and not combing nor brushing my hair for one year.
