MY (latest) PEACE of JEWELRY

Image
I finished MY PEACE a few weeks ago, but just got around to posting some pics. I love it! But I got to be honest, what the hell can I wear with it? My dilema is I like making MY PEACEs and looking at MY PEACEs, but I am at a lost when it comes to fitting with my dress style. I hope MY PEACE finds a nice home. Chain Chain Chain on Etsy

New MY PEACE of JEWELRY Necklace

Image
Just made MY PEACE of JEWELRY necklace here and I could not wait to take photographs, so I brought it to work. On my lunch break, I went on campus and "scouted" the perfect location. I did not really "scout", I had to go up there anyway to drop something off. Anyway, I found an area full of benches, where I thought it would be kind of cool. I am photographing more and more outside because I like to do it during my lunch hour when it's daylight and there is a lot of natural light. MY PEACE of JEWELRY is very organic, ethnic, nature-inspired jewelry and I want to express this in my photographs. Photographed a few in the sun BUT a little too bright! Photographed in the shade and I liked the outcome. http://www.etsy.com/shop/Zeedubya

Finished! MY favorite PEACE to date

Image
Just finished this necklace. Combining the ceramic turquoise tube beads with the stained brown ceramic oval beads is just awesome, featuring the foreign coins are probably from Afghan or Pakistan. They are called Kuchi coins. Don't ask wear they are from, because I simply don't know. I buy beads, store them around the house, until an idea for a design come to mind then BAM! I make a necklace. This one is pretty heavy, that is why I used a big lobster clasp to close it in the back. http://www.etsy.com/shop/zeedubya

Necklace in Progress - Bib Necklace?!?! - YES

Image
The latest MY PEACE of JEWELRY is in process. Below are the glass beads I am combining with the three strands of oval beads displayed above. I've decided to design a bib-style necklace. Bib style means a statement being displayed on your chest, wherein it can partially to completely cover one's chest - like a baby's bib. Almost finished! http://www.etsy.com/shop/Zeedubya
