How I Wear MY PEACE of jewelry - Wooden Chunky Necklace

MY OUTFIT
 may not be perfectly styled 
but it's styled perfectly
for me

I hope you feel confident in whatever you wear
 

These are my go-to OLD Levi's when I am not feeling like 
being a stuffed sausage in my skinny jeans.
Wore this Friday to work.
Working at a major college in Los Angeles, I admit, I can push the boundaries with my 
selection of clothes.
But I figure, I can "glam up" My Outfit with


Ok, mayby MY PEACE of jewelry won't "glam up" My Outfit
But, you got to dress what feels best for you.

 

I was inspired to make 
MY PEACE of jewelry 
by costume jewelry, I've seen over the years.
Big and bulky choker length necklaces.
Most of it with faux materials, such as
fake pearls and gold-plated materials.
I wanted to make a chunky necklace with WOOD.
Here it is.
Bayond Wood Beads is a hardwood that grows in the Philippines,
is durable, making it perfect for jewelry making.
The same with Olive Wood beads, which are from Olive trees in Bethlehem,
also having a "lovely" visible wood grain pattern.

The two turquoise-colored beads are ceramic.

    Zalina, Dein schlichtes Outfit ist wirklich der beste Hintergrund für Deinen Schmuck. Durch den grauen Pulli wird der Blick auf die schöne Holzmaserung gelenkt. Deine Jeans mag ich besonders, ich kann mich mit Skinny Jeans nicht anfreunden - wie die Wurst in der Pelle fühle ich mich auch. Vielleicht sollte ich mal in der Männerabteilung des Sozialkaufhauses nach ein Paar alten Levis suchen, sie sind einfach die besten.
    Bei Dir ist es tatsächlich noch warm und sonnig, ich beneide Dich!

    I love boyfriend jeans too, really very comfy AND nice! Your necklace is so beautiful Zalina!!! I rarely wear necklaces i really don't know why :( I like jewelry made of wood and i esp like the turquoise stones!

It's not to often I'm in a dress. I love dresses,  but because I commute mainly by bike it's not the best item to wear.
