How I Wear MY PEACE of jewelry - Sneaker Wedges

These White Sneaker Wedges
were an impulse purchase
WHITE SNEAKER WEDGES!?!
Really?!?
I wear size 11 shoe.
White shoes are not the best shoes for a big foot girl

But I bought them.anyway
I felt the impulse, they were on sale
Originally $79, on sale for $29
BDG Quarter-Strap High-Top Wedge-Sneaker - Urban Outfitters

It's hard to pair WHITE HIGH TOPs with an outfit.
You don't want your feet to stand out from the clothes
So, I decided to wear with my oversized, faded Levi's
and Urban Outfitters' shirt

How I Wear
SNEAKER WEDGES
1. Create a snug, fitted appearance around the ankle
2. No socks
3. Keep outfit casual

What's the latest impulse purchase you've made?
Were they Sneaker Wedges?

I made these earrings
with bronze wire that I twisted to hold the vintage gypsy bells,
used turquoise heishi beads to create the three columns and upper portion of the earrings.

  1. Love it! I like the all blue with white shoes. In theory large white wedge sneakers doesn't sound right but in reality, it works! I love it! I want a pair of wedge sneakers. My first pair of high heels ever were a pair of red sneaker wedges. I got them when I lived in Germany. I was ten and it was the only way I could trick my parents into buying me heels! I loved those shoes, and if my feet hasn't kept growing, I'd probably still have them.

    1. Thank you. I know what you are saying about the all blue. I was a bit concerned but I figured the jeans being faded blue picked up the white in the shoes plus the blue in the shirt.

  2. I agree with Jean: in theory they shouldn't work, but they most definitely do. Lesson learned: try it! You look great and thanks for sharing with Visible Monday.

  3. Zalina, you look wonderful! I totally love the wedge sneakers on you and how you made your whole outfit work and look sooooo good. The details of your earrings are perfect too. It's harder to create 'volume' that looks chic in an outfit rather than wearing tight or fitted to the body looks, if you know what I mean. Your top and jeans balance the sneakers perfectly.
I try not to implulse buy anymore :-)

    1. Thanks much! I'm getting better about not impulse buying. When I do do it, it's usaully an item on sale around payday. That's not good. :(

  6. you know what the shoes don't look that big after all - It looks good with jeans but also i think they would dress down a dress quite nicely -

    1. You are so right. I think the shoes don't look because of the wedged heel. Thank you.

  7. The shoes look terrific! They're just like a recent pair of wedge oxfords I bought in that the heel isn't visually distinctive, instead the style of the shoe is worked all the way onto the wedge itself. I love them - and you got a great deal! ;-)
