I'm not a very religious person, but I am spiritual and do like the basic messages of Buddhism and Hinduism. Even though I did not know the symbolism of this amulet, I was drawn to it. It's a lady with several hands riding on a tiger In my research, I've discovered, the symbol represents positive feminine energy and power. She is goddess Durga, who symbolizes the divine forces (positive energy) known as the divine shakti (feminine energy/power) The word "durga" means fort or a place that is protected and thus difficult to reach. Durga, protects by destroying forces negative energy and vices, i.e., arrogance, jealousy, prejudice, hatred, anger, greed and selfishness).
