What a difference a day makes

Last week it was HOT, in fact hot enough to wear this racer back t-shirt and ankle length LEVIs. It's a pretty simple outfit with a basic color scheme. What I like about this shirt is the back. It has this beautiful tribal beaded embroidery. With an outfit like this, I keep my jewelry simple. I don't want to take away from the t-shirt. So, I wore a pair of earrings I made. Oval turquoise drop earrings. What are drop earrings? Ok, maybe you did not ask BUT I am going to tell you anyway. Basically, these are earrings that "drop" below the earlobe. Typically, these are simple pieces where some kind of adornment like a gemstone, charm or bead drops directly from the base of the earring. There is very little movement, like swinging. I love jeans! Looking in my closet, one would know that I love jeans. But! I noticed all my jeans are either black, blue or various shades of black or blue. I’m getting bored just wearing black or blue. So last weekend I set out to find some funky jeans. I did not know what I wanted exactly, but I was sure I was not going to buy another pair of blue Levis. Well, I succeeded. I found these adorable PRINTED jeans at Urban Outfitters. I am going to take pics of the outfit that I am wearing today and eventually post it. People have been taking double takes at my pants. You will see why when I post. Anyway, here are some pics of my outfit on that rainy day, which by afternoon turned sunny. As for jewelry, I kept it simple. I wore MY PEACE of JEWELRY   necklace. It's a link chain with a Sea Bean pendant. You ask, "what is a Sea Bean?" Ok, maybe you did not ask, but I am going to tell you anyway. Sea-beans (also known as drift seeds ) are seeds and fruits that are carried to the ocean, often by freshwater streams and rivers, then drift with the ocean currents and (hopefully!) wash ashore. I pulled the definition from THE Sea-bean website. I kid you not! There is a Sea-bean website ! It's hilarious. It has Sea-bean stories featu
