How I Wear MY PEACE of jewelry - strapless black dress

Image
A black, a-line flower-power strapless dress Strapless dresses are always in style. That is why I'm proud to say this is an "old" dress that I bought from a thrift store. The right jewelry to wear with a STRAPLESS DRESS is ANYTHING. With a strapless dress your chest is bare. A BARE CHEST is a BLANK CANVAS On this particular day, I chose to wear MY PEACE of jewelry Large Turquoise Teardrop Bead Necklace. I just made this necklace a few weeks ago. Actually I made two necklaces.  The single strand and multi-strand Turquoise Teardrop & Olive Wood Beads on Etsy I love how the olive wood beads complement the flower on the dress  and the Turquoise Teardrop beads adds a pop of color to my outfit Single strand Necklace available on Etsy Bib Style, multi-strand necklace on Etsy Remember with a STRAPLESS DRESS you can wear a BOLD, COLORFUL NECKLACE Handmade Jewelry & Mannequins...

How I Wear MY PEACE of jewelry - Father's Day

Image
Hope you had a good Father's Day.  Mine was very good.   Drove to my Dad's house,  spent nice quality time with my father, brother, cousin and god-brother.  Nothing is better than family. My outfit. A romper What is a "romper"? Checked online for a definition,  I found this weird one "a one piece garment that is an odd mix between a shirt and shorts, often worn by women" The definition fits. I wanted to be comfortable. Chino, California is pretty hot in the Summer. Romper is a nice option because it's loose, comfy and light material. Ok, I took photographs  MY FAMILY I photographed  MY PEACE of jewelry Earrings - Brass round balls and wooden disc beads  similar pair available on Etsy My cousin wearing a similar pair of ea...

I've already posted one tutorial about How to Make a Mannequin out of paper, paste and patience. It's been 3 years since that post. For kicks, I thought I'd make a new post just to see how much I've aged over the years. Ha! Besides me getting older, nothing else has changed. I still make each MANNEQUIN with the same materials. 1. paper bags 2. wallpaper paste 3. patience 4. time Now, when I decided to make this post,  I was already in the process of making another TORSO. I've sold quite a few on Etsy with great feedback . I started taking pictures after making one layer over my original MANNEQUIN I let it dry and now I'm cutting the form from the original MANNEQUIN After cutting the form, then I separated from the original MANNEQUIN Here is the form, front and back Next, need to close the back with tape Using cardboard to close the bottom and start adding layers with paper mache...
