NATURAL HAIR JOURNEY 
1 Month Update - Video #3
  I've joined the natural hair community. Since wearing braids for 20 years, I finally decided last month to go completely natural. Took out the extensions for good! It's been an eye-opening experience. I hid behind my braids because I was afraid people wouldn't accept me with short, kinky-curly hair. The first week was rough. I got some positive reactions and definitely some negative reactions. A colleague asked if I was sick and a friend said he liked me better with long hair, but I don't care. I am not doing this to please anyone else but me. In the past month, it's been a mental battle to stay positive and patient. I have my good days and bad days, where I like my hair and days I don't. I intend to keep my promise to myself to not use heat (blowdrying, curling iron nor rollers), no combing and no brushing to my hair for one year. I will only finger style my hair. 
It's been one month. See where I am at in this video. It's an emotional journey to really love yourself from head to toe.
