How to layer MY PEACE of jewelry - African Brass Ring Necklaces

African Brass Rings

These brass rings were used as currency by the Yoruba people of Nigeria, from the late
1800's to the early 1900's. They were originally braided onto a leather belt, and traded this way.
Each ring is individually made, using the ancient lost wax casting method, and no two rings are exactly alike.

  2. Die Ringe sind wunderschön Zalina. Noch schöner, da sie eine eigene Geschichte besitzen.

  4. Wonderful! You look beautiful ... love that soft gray with the hint of heather in it ... and of course your necklace is beautiful, especially because it is your creation.
Isn't it wonderful to touch and wear something so truly old and meaningful? I have some very, very old Roman era bronze rings ... they're so brittle that they're impossible to wear, and completely oxidized. Perhaps I'll figure out a way some day!
    Have a dazzling 2014!
    PS. Who'se the guy? Hmmmm?

    1. Thank you! You should put your bronze rings on chains. It's very easy. The guy is my brother. :) My "little" brother.
