How I Wear MY PEACE of jewelry - Dress too Short, What to Wear

I bought this knit dress/shirt a few months ago
from Urban Outfitters
knowing it would be too short to wear as a dress 
but knowing it would be just right wearing with pants


Question: What to wear with figure-hugging-too-short-dress-but-too-long-shirt?
Answer - skinny cropped jeans

I could not resist buying this dress/shirt
The print is pretty cool
Front - striped print
Back - chevron print





I think we are all familiar with a STRIPED pattern
but what is a CHEVRON pattern?


CHEVRON - is simply a V-shaped pattern
It's a BOLD pattern that complements every body shape


I paired the outfit with my black ballet flats


Of course, I have to show MY PEACE of jewelry  that I wore

    I love that this dress/top has a chevron pattern on the back (Chevron is the name of a gas station in Canada, ha ha! Of course, their logo is...a chevron).

    I adore that great tunic...and of course I would wear it with...skinny jeans, as well! I never saw it on the Urban Outfitters site - what a score! I'm just learning to wear stripes and getting into the Parisian aspect of it. You rock those earrings, too!

    Fabulous combination ... I'm all over the stripes, and the chevron treatment in the back takes it out of the ordinary. So does the length! Who knew it was a dress? Perfect solution to the problem: skinnies. Yup.
    Of course, the earrings set it off. They're the best!

It's not to often I'm in a dress. I love dresses,  but because I commute mainly by bike it's not the best item to wear.
