How I Wear MY PEACE of jewelry - tank dress
It's not to often I'm in a dress.
I love dresses,
but because I commute mainly by bike
it's not the best item to wear.
A tank dress is the perfect piece
to have in your wardrobe.
You can fancy it up with high heels and lux jacket
or in my case
make it casual and pair with a cropped jean jacket
and of course MY PEACE of jewelry necklace
This black tank dress is very special to me.
It was my mother's dress
In May, it will be two years since she died.
Casual wear - jean jacket, Levi's
MY PEACE of jewelry - Brass n' Lucite Necklace
MY PEACE of jewelry hand stamped CUFFS

ReplyDeleteDanke, Sabine. Ja, jedes Tag, denke ich an meine Mutter. Sie war eine sehr schoene Frau. :)

Thank you Ann. She is in my thoughts everyday. She loved her clothes! :0)
DeleteThat dress was made to go with your jewels. So sweet that it was your mother's. And you look lovely in it, of course.
ReplyDeleteDid you get your design skills from her as well? Lovely.
Hi Jan:
DeleteThank you! And yes, I did. She was a woodworker. She crafted the BIG stuff. She made shutters for the house, huge jewelry case, sofa table, encased book shelves. She was very talented. My dad was glad to have her around. :)
That is an awesome dress, and I can imagine it reminds you of your mom every time you wear it. I love the way you styled it with your necklace and jacket.

Hi Bohemian:
DeleteI am sorry for your loss too. I know you can't believe it's already been two years. For me, it seems like it happened a few months ago. When I feel really sad, I try to remember that I am grateful for having her around as long as I did. Stay strong. :)
