How I Wear MY PEACE of jewelry - tank dress

It's not to often I'm in a dress. I love dresses,
but because I commute mainly by bike it's not the best item to wear.

A tank dress is the perfect piece
to have in your wardrobe.
You can fancy it up with high heels and lux jacket
or in my case
make it casual and pair with a cropped jean jacket
and of course MY PEACE of jewelry necklace

This black tank dress is very special to me.
It was my mother's dress
In May, it will be two years since she died.

Casual wear - jean jacket, Levi's

  5. That dress was made to go with your jewels. So sweet that it was your mother's. And you look lovely in it, of course.
Did you get your design skills from her as well? Lovely.

    1. Hi Jan:

Thank you! And yes, I did. She was a woodworker. She crafted the BIG stuff. She made shutters for the house, huge jewelry case, sofa table, encased book shelves. She was very talented. My dad was glad to have her around. :)

I'm sorry to hear about your mom. It must be a really special feeling to wear her dress i guess. Lost my dad about 2 years ago. There isn't one day i don't miss him.

    1. Hi Bohemian:

I am sorry for your loss too. I know you can't believe it's already been two years. For me, it seems like it happened a few months ago. When I feel really sad, I try to remember that I am grateful for having her around as long as I did. Stay strong. :)
